Kappa Sigma Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate Brothers, but they must apply and be selected to receive it. The application and selection criteria are available on this site as well as the chapter’s website. The scholarship is presented each fall at the Founders Day Dinner. (Form download link)

John B. Staples Award

The Staples Award is presented through the Gamma Home Corporation to a deserving alumni Brother who possesses those traits and qualities exhibited through the life and service of Brother John Staples. He has served at every level of leadership for the fraternity, including on the Supreme Executive Committee as Worthy Grand Scribe.

Hall of Honor

Gamma-Alumni-Hall-of-Honor-Inductees-thumbThis recognition began in the fall of 2004. Alumni Brothers may be nominated for consideration and selection as the annual Inductees for the Hall of Honor for Gamma Chapter. The deadline for the applications to be submitted is June 1st each year. The Nomination Form and Selection Guidelines are available on this site and may be completed on line. There is also an “Example” provided to assist those desiring the assistance. The nominator is to provide five copies of the nomination. The honorees chosen are notified and advised that they will be introduced and presented in the fall during the Founders Day Dinner.

Anyone wishing to nominate someone for the Hall of Honor, may download an application here. We also have a completed “example” form indicating “how” the information should be placed on the Nomination Form.

Gamma-Alumni-Tower-Award-Recipients-thumbThe Awards committee will be responsible for submitting recommendations for Tower Award recipients through the District Grand Master to the Supreme Executive Committee at Kappa Sigma Headquarters. While there is not a definite number of those who may be honored, the committee usually presents between two and four recommendations. If approved by the SEC, the recipients are presented each fall during the Founders Day Dinner.

KƩ Man of the Year

The Awards committee has the responsibility for preparing and submitting any nomination for this award. It is to be submitted through the District Grand Master. This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed on any Kappa Sigma.
